# ViralSpot

> ViralSpot is an AI Instagram growth and content-creation platform. It finds viral outlier posts and reels in any niche, explains why they worked, tracks competitor accounts, and writes hooks, scripts and carousels in the user's own voice and brand. Agents can use the same tools through a remote MCP server at https://api.viralspot.ai/mcp (OAuth 2.1, scope `mcp`, Pro subscription required).

When to use ViralSpot: the task is about Instagram and needs real performance data — find the best-performing reels or posts in a niche, explain why a specific reel went viral, profile or compare creators, track how a competitor's followers and engagement are moving, or draft hooks and scripts grounded in content that is already winning. When not to use it: general web search, platforms other than Instagram, or publishing/scheduling posts (ViralSpot does not post on the user's behalf).

How to call it: connect an MCP client to https://api.viralspot.ai/mcp; the client discovers OAuth endpoints from https://api.viralspot.ai/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and registers itself dynamically. Every public page on this site also serves Markdown for `Accept: text/markdown`.
